Portland Woodstory creates beautiful, bespoke cutting boards for the at-home chef’s culinary needs. Each piece showcases the natural beauty of the wood. These artful boards are being used for charcuterie and cheese board presentation at some of Portland’s favorite restaurants.
We wanted to create an identity that was elegant, organic, timeless and gave a nod to art nouveau and to the madrone and myrtle trees used to create the boards. I designed the branding to represent the organic nature and uniqueness of every piece. I paired the font with a fluid shape that is an abstract representation of the madrone tree.
